San Diego, CA | 22 February 2012 -- Two website projects created by Orion Creative Group have been featured in the “Drupal Showcase.”
The Drupal Showcase is a collection of unique and innovative sites curated by Acquia, the enterprise organization that assists major corporations and govenrments in embracing the Drupal open source web development platform. This gallery of sites includes examples from top agencies and developers, showcasing best practices in enterprise Drupal, and includes prominent Drupal sites such as Zappos, Fast Company, and The White House.
Orion Creative Group has two clients whose sites have been included, both listed under the “Toys” category.
Zobmondo!! is a retail company specializing in entertainment products. Best known for their ever-popular “Would You Rather?” games, Zobmondo!! did a website overhaul in 2011 with the help of Orion Creative Group. “Zobmondo needed a fun, entertaining, and interactive site for users, but it also needed to be functional and easy to maintain,” says Orion CEO, Harley Orion. “They wanted their site to match their brand, and I believe we delivered that.”
The other Orion Creative Group website highlighted is that of the Rokenbok Toy Company. Rokenbok was founded in 1995, with aims to produce educational and engaging toys. “The goal of this website was to create a space for families to engage with the products as they would if they were holding them in their hands,” says Orion’s CTO, Travis Cunningham. “Creating the sophisticated content types to showcase Rokenbok’s products and connect them into their community of fans, while maintaining usability, was an exciting challenge for us.”
