Biotech innovator Targeson gets a website that is approachable and polished

Targeson, a San Diego-based biotechnology company, needed a web space that spoke to its highly technical clientele while still looking stylish and energetic - this is Southern California, after all! Orion Creative Group was brought in to update the website and branding for this innovative company.

Though the site is primarily a B2B portal, one of the requirements was that it be easy to update internally, as Targeson is in a constant state of innovation and discovery. The Drupal platform, Orion Creative Group’s specialty, was an good fit for the needs of a company seeking a professional yet creative solution with a CMS that is easily updated by non-programmers. “Orion Creative Group did an excellent job in managing this project. Our new web site not only looks professional, but it is flexible enough to allow our team to keep the site up-to-the-minute with new applications and products,” said Jack DeFranco, President & CEO, of Targeson.

Harley Orion, CEO and Creative Director of Orion Creative Group, saw a website like Targeson’s as an opportunity to showcase the diversity of the creative services offered at Orion Creative Group. “While a highly technical product does not always have sexiest website, we believe that it is important to be able to effectively serve the B2B market with our designs, and Targeson is a great example of a brand that needs to be shown as very polished and technically sound, but not too dry,” he said. “Our design is approachable but still clearly professional and highly functional.” Orion Creative Group was responsible for the end-to-end development process including updating the logo and branding, graphic design, and all web development.
